5 Free Efiles

Once you download the software you can add up to 5 different licenses to that software. If I have multiple licenses, do I get 5 free efiles per license I have uploaded into the software? Also, when I put them on a different computer usually you get 5 free efiles per computer up to 5 computers. Did that change this year? If it is no longer 5 free efiles per license why would that not be announced to people that have more than one license tied to their account at least from last year? It says on the package 5 free efiles for the license code? Can we get a refund if that is not the case?

5 Free Efiles

The five federal e-file limit is an IRS limit.    If you have more than five federal returns to file, you can file them by mail.   And, no, purchasing additional CD/downloads is not a way to get around the IRS limit.   If you have so many tax returns to file that you are asking about putting the software on five computers to file five returns on each one, you should be looking into purchasing the professional tax software, like LaCerte or ProSeries.
