This is the first year that the "5 day early" offer has ever been available.

Remember that the “”5 day early” date is based on the date given to you on the IRS refund site—-not the date the TT site shows in your account.   If your refund does not come in five days ahead of the IRS date, they are supposed to cancel the $25 fee.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

What is the date that the IRS will deliver your refund in the IRS Where’s My Refund site?

Once the IRS approves a customer’s refund, TurboTax attempts to transfer the your refund to your bank account. TurboTax sends you an email letting you know if they were able to successfully deliver the refund up to 5 Days Early.

If TurboTax was successfully able to deliver the customer’s refund up to 5 Days Early, the refund is expected to be in your bank account the same day you receive an email from TurboTax.
