$40 PROCESSING FEE

I think it is awful that TurboTax charges a $40 processing fee from your REFUND if you elect to have the $20 State Return charges taken out of your REFUND.

I wanted to charge my Credit Card for the $20 but the Turbo Tax screen FROZE and it would not allow further processing to the credit card.  So now I was forced to choose the deduct from my refund only to learn an additional $40 PROCESSING FEE will be assessed just for that transaction.  Unbelieveable!  This is an unjust fee.

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue.  If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help.  Do not use the word “refund.”

To circumvent this ridiculous charge, which involves a third party, just use a credit card to pay.  No $40 fee.
