I am filing 2021 taxes late. I do not think I got a third stimulus, and can find no record of it. I tried to access info through the IRS but cannot get it from the website and the tool has been disabled. I also had no luck calling them. Any advice on how to find out for sure about the stimulus?

If the IRS sent you the 3rd stimulus payment it will be shown in your IRS online account - https://www.irs.gov/payments/your-online-account

If you are Married Filing Jointly also check your spouse's tax account.

If you checked your bank account in the March - May 2021 timeframe and there is not a EIP3 payment from the IRS then go to this IRS website for how to start a trace on the payment - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/questions-and-answers-about-the-third-economic-impact-payment-topic-j-payment-issued-but-lost-stolen-destroyed-or-not-received

When filing the 2021 return you can say you did not get any of the stimulus and the program will put it on line 30 of the form 1040 then the IRS will be forced to check for you and if you did get the advance they will adjust the credit on the return automatically.
