I finally got the amended return and all looks correct. I can see a 1040X form correctly filled out but if I try to print or save the form I get 2 blank pages and some instructions. It does not send this form to the IRS either. After 2 hours on the phone with Turbotax there is no resolution. I saw many similar complaints on the Community site. There needs to be a software correction.

The issue may be with the Adobe program you are using since you are able to view your return on your screen but not on the PDF. When you are in Forms mode, go to the black banner then click File and then Print from the dropdown. On the popup, it will say that Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is recommended for viewing or printing the PDF. There will be a link to the website to download that program.
You will not need to send them a new file. They get a digital file coded for them. You should be set.

I am having a similar problem.
I have already filed a 1040, and now need to file an amended return.
The 1040-X form is visible on-screen but will not print. The PDF shows two blank pages (where the form should be) followed by two pages of worksheets.
I am using Windows desktop, and the software is up-to-date as of a few minutes ago.
Please help?
I have called TurboTax several times and have not gotten any answer or even an acknowledgement that there is a problem in the software. The IRS accepted my revised return but I am wondering when I will get a call saying the 1040X was not submitted.
Someone named Sharon D007 asked me to send the return to them but I have not been able to contact her again.
I reviewed your redacted diagnostic file and was able to view and print Form 1040X.
If you are using TurboTax Online. Try closing TurboTax, clearing your cache and deleting your cookies. Review the TurboTax Help article How to clear your cache and How do I delete cookies? for specific instructions for your browser. Also, reboot your computer.
Hopefully, you will be able to print after this.

That seemed to be the best solution. I can now get a print of 1040X but I get a message saying that I may have an error using this PDF.
I am wondering if the IRS did get the correct 1040X or the same blank pages that I saw. Do I need to send them a new file now?
