2024 Turbo Tax desktop spinning and crashing

2024 Turbo Tax desktop is crashing and endless spin trying to calculate. Unusable at this time. I have tried to redownload, but same problems. This seems to have started since the recent update for 1099R information. Product is unusable.

Has it cured itself? After waiting on phone for support for over 30 minutes, still waiting, I entered information and TT seems to be moving along as it should. It has done the calculations. I changed nothing, let it sit open for all this time and now it is working. Go figure.
