I purchased a Toyota Rav4 Prime 7/12/2022. By IRS regulations its eligible for at least 1/2 rebate or my tax liability. The drop box for the manufacturer will not let me select a manufacturer so The credit does not calculate on my return. How do I fix this without filing a manual return? Thanks for any help.

According to the Windows version it is working perfect.
For Plug in it is working.
And for Alternative motor vehicle it is working.
Try updating or clearing your cache and cookies, then a reboot. It looks like you are using Windows, so first Clear you cache and cookies to do so follow the below instructions:
Your browser stores recently visited webpages as temporary files in a cache, which enables the pages to load more quickly when revisited.
However, a full or corrupted cache can cause problems in TurboTax, so sometimes you need to clear your cache (that is, remove these temporary files).
Here are the official instructions for the most popular browsers:
Apple's official support site doesn't appear to contain instructions for clearing the cache in Safari. Your best bet is to search the Internet for clear Safari cache or similar search terms.
Then Delete Cookies if yo haven't done so already.
Check for Updates then reboot
[EDITED 02/17/2023 | 09:41 am PST]
After quitting TurboTax and clearing cache and cookies, reboot, then reopen TurboTax to check for updates on a Mac.
If you're on a PC, open TurboTax and select Check for Updates from the Online menu near the top. On a Mac, simply quit and reopen TurboTax. If there are any updates, you'll be prompted to download them.
Tips:
Thanks for getting Back. I am using turbo Tax on an apple mac book so I am using safari. I will try your suggestions.
That helped. Now I get the manufacturer Toyota to work. Now when I complete the form it says not eligible for credit. This is only credit I am claiming so I do not think I have a conflict. Looking at IRS guides Toyota made its limits for full EV credit June 30, 2022. I purchased my vehicle on 7/12/2022. My understanding It should be at least half. My tax liability is about $1800. I had $1350 taken out of SS so it shows I owe $450. In my mind I am entitled to credit and should get my withholding tax back due to the credit. Is this a me problem or is their a glitch in the software or am I wrong about Toyota eligibility for the rebate. I bought my vehicle before August 2022 when the manufacturing requirements became law. My RAV4 was manufactured in Japan but that was OK before August. Am I missing something or is the software wrong?
Thanks for your help and consideration.
The tax credit is not refundable, which means you must have federal tax due to take advantage of it. It can not be used to get the previously paid withholdings back. If your tax due is less than the credit amount, you can only claim the credit up to the amount of your tax due. The assembly requirements apply to vehicles purchased in 2022 after August 16, 2022. You will want to make sure if your vehicle was purchased before August 16, 2022, that, the correct date is reflected in the entry screen for the Electronic Vehicle Credit
