2022 1099-R software glitch

I have a 1099-R for 2022, i did not have one for 2021. I was going through my taxes online and added the 1099-R to 2022, now keep in mind 2021 was blank because I didn't have one. i entered the info for 2022 and when it went back to the main screen, there was an amount in 2021 for the exact same as 2022. I tried deleting the 1099-r and it's still there. I went and pulled up my tax documents and now it shows an amended return! I cannot even pull up the original return. I did not nor do I want to amend a 2021 return. There is no option to cancel it because I never amended it. I have the original return because I downloaded it prior to starting my 2022 taxes. How do I fix this and how do I make sure it never submitted it to the IRS? This is a big deal as it will be nearly 15k in taxes owed. I never got any kind of email and it shows my efile date as last year but the tax forms are all wrong now.

Please be aware that you cannot e-file prior year amended returns. For years prior to 2022, you'll need to print and mail your amended return. Therefore, nothing got sent to the IRS. If you are still worried you can check  Where's My Amended Return?

Please make sure that you are in the correct year when working on your 2022 tax return. If you use TurboTax Online you can only work on your 2022 tax return. If you are using TurboTax Download/Software you will have to make sure you are in the 2022 version.

This is the problem turbo tax created an amended return in its own I never even touched the amend option. I don’t want it I can’t download my original return

any 2021 amendment would have to be mailed by you.
