2020 Economic Impact Payment

I did not receive the last Economic Impact Payment in 2020 for $600.00. Can I get a credit for this on my 2021 taxes and if so where do I file it?

No, the Economic Impact Payments (EIPs) for 2020 must be completed on the 2020 tax return.  Please use the instructions below to amend your 202 tax return and complete the Recovery Rebate Credit (RRC) section.  Follow all the instructions before you begin any changes to your return.

• How to amend (change or correct) a return already filed?

• In TurboTax Online, to claim the Recovery Rebate credit please do the following:

• Sign into your account and continue from where you left off
• Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Federal Review on the top of the screen
• On the next page titled Let's make sure you got the right stimulus amount, click on Continue
• Follow the interview
• TurboTax will determine whether you are entitled to any additional stimulus
• Any stimulus amount remaining due to you will show as a credit on line 30 of your form 1040.
