i took 20k out of my 401k in 2020 i spread the tax burden over 3 years. i filled out form 8915e in 2021when i filed my 2020 return and paid a third of the tax burden. what do i do where can i pay the next third i don't have a new 1099-r

You will need to wait until that section of the program has been added ... the IRS still has not finished the new form 8915-F yet so the program doesn't include it yet ... doubt this will be working before March but when it does it should be in the 1099-R area of the program.
You won't get any 1099-R.
But when all is said and done that 1/3 will be included on your line 5b for 401Ks. or 4b for IRAs.
