What is your tax question? This is a message board, not live chat. You have to post all the details of your question and wait for someone to respond. But do not post any personal information or contact information. This is a public web site that anyone can view.

If your spouse passed away in 2019, and you did not remarry before the end of the year, you can file a joint tax return for the year.

If you have children at home you will probably be able to file as qualifying widow(er) for the two years following the year that your spouse passed away.

Did your spouse die in 2019? There is a problem with Efiling when one spouse died during the year. You have print and mail your return this year.
