Question

2019 Taxes

I bought Turbotax Deluxe in 2018 for my 2018 taxes.  How do I update the program so I can prepare my 2019 taxes?  When I click on "start a new tax filing" all the questions I get are referring to 2018, not 2019.

      Each year is new software.  You cannot use 2018 software to prepare a 2019 tax return.  You must use 2019 software.   You can purchase a download from the TT site, or from many retailers such as Amazon, Costco, Sam's, Walmart, Best Buy, etc.

      If you use exactly the same account and user ID and choose to transfer the data from 2018 to 2019, your personal information will transfer over.

      i have put 2019 wages on the 2018 return

      i am at a loss none of your answers are helping
