Im trying to fill out my 2019 tax return, yes I know I am past the deadline.  Apparently the software I downloaded is Basic Turbotax 2020 and I need to fill out my 2019 return.  Please advise

To complete and file a 2019 tax return using TurboTax you would need to purchase, download and install on a personal computer one of the 2019 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

A 2019 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.

You can keep 2020 Basic if you will need to do 2020 or get a refund.

To do a 2019 year return you have to buy the Desktop program here,

You will need a full Windows or Mac to install it on.
