2018 Turbotax Deluxe for Mac hangs up on Form 1040 preparation

I have successfully prepared 6 2018 Forms 1040 on my downloaded 2018 TurboTax Deluxe program.  Now on the 7th return it keeps hanging up.  I enter all the income info, and then when I come to the Done With Income page, it will go no further.  I can open my other returns and go through them, but this one return just hangs up every time.

Is anyone else having this problem or have a suggestion for a fix?

7 returns?   I hope you are not doing this for pay.  TurboTax is not licensed for professional use and it is violation of IRS regulations to use TurboTax for pay.

Having said that,  first I would restart the Mac.

If it continues to hang on just one return then the .tax file might have become corrupt for that return.  Try starting a new tax return and save it to a different name and .tax file and see if it hangs again at the same place.

Make sure the software is up to date.  Top menu bar -> TurboTax -> About TurboTax -> More Info.

It should be r20 Build date Mar 29, 2019.   If not it  has not updated.

If it still hangs, then exactally what screen are you on when it hangs and what was the last thing entered?
