After filing my 2018 return I chose not to print a hard copy as the record was on my computer. Unfortunately, my computer since then has failed and needed to reinstall windows - that record is gone. Why is TurboTax telling me it will take 6 weeks for them to report the information in that return to me? I also trusted in the pin from 2018 as a filing key for 2019. Turbotax or the IRS won't accept that pin number. Thus I am required to enter an income figure that I have no record of and must wait 6 weeks to have Turbotax provide that information. What is up with that????

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
Or go to this IRS website for free federal tax return transcripts - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
For a fee of $50 you can get a complete federal tax return from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf
Yes! IRS gave me a copy of 2018 1040, there it is, 2018 AGI. The only other problem, I made. In my frantic efforts to get the info from Turbo-Tax, I accidentally deleted my entire completed return for 2019. I'll start all over again.
