1: My daughter turned 18 last January, graduated HS in June. Can I still claim her as a dependent on my 2022 taxes? She is working PT and not claiming herself.
2: Months after I filed and received my 2021 refund, I got a couple of 1099c forms. Do I claim these with my 2022 taxes?

Not sure if you meant she turned 18 in January of 2022. If that is the case, yes, you can claim her as a dependent on your tax return.

A child of a taxpayer can still be a Qualifying Child (QC) dependent, regardless of his/her income, if:

1. He is under age 19, or under 24 if a full time student for at least 5 months of the year, or is totally & permanently disabled

2. He did not provide more than 1/2 his own support. Scholarships are considered third party support and not as support provided by the student.

3. He lived with the parent (including temporary absences such as away at school) for more than half the year

If you received 1099-C forms dated 2021, you cannot add those to your 2022 return. Instead, you should file an amended 2021 return to add those forms.
