12 month qualifying period for physical presence outside USA

Tried entering a 12 month qualifying period with 1/1/2017 to 12/31/2017 and was told the period is less than 12 months. When I changed to 1/1/2017 to 1/1/2018 was told the end date was not 12 months after the start date. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I recommend that you contact Customer Support (link below) during regular business hours for this issue. In a couple of, admittedly limited, tests I have not been able to reproduce your result.

Dumb mistake on my part entering 2017 instead of 2018 though the error messages from TT were not very helpful.  Once corrected the entry was accepted.
