I had to fill out the 1099 form in the school district my son attended, because now they would pay for his private education and mileage. How does this affect my taxes?

    You don't fill out a 1099.  You might be asked to fill out a W-9, because the school thinks you will be receiving taxable income.  Free tuition would not normally be counted as taxable income to you.  More information is definitely needed.
