Where do I enter a 1099-S?

    A 1099-S is related to the sale of a home.  In TurboTax Home & Business go to Personal>Personal Income>Less Common Income> Sale of Home (gain or loss).

    Form 1099-S can be received for other reasons too like a sale of a second home, an inherited home, land, rental property or standing timber.
