1099-R

Box 2a is blank on my 1099-R, but the whole amount in box 1 is taxable. if I leave box 2a empty , turbotax says that I'm saying that none of the income is taxable. Do I just put the same number that is in box 1 into box 2a, because I know its all taxable?

If you know that amount is taxable enter it in box 2a.
