1099-R: Payer Address Discrepancy

Hello,

My Turbo-imported 1099-R (from Vanguard classic) shows a payer's address that's different from the form (apparently original) that I just downloaded off their website. Is this unimportant, or would it be best to edit the address within Turbotax? Thanks!

The payer's address on your 1099-R is usually not important.

Is the Federal Identification Number the same on the download as the imported form?

If so, you probably don't need to Edit the address in TurboTax, unless you want to match the download version that you keep with your tax records.

Yes, same TIN. So should probably leave it as is. Thank you.
