I removed a 1099-R in the federal side. I don't have for 2022. But did in 2021.
But on the State side it has it listed as untitled $0.00.
I went back to federal side and can't find any form or info on it.
And No errors come up

1. Please clarify which state?
2. Did you create the state return BEFORE or AFTER you deleted the 1099-R that carried over from 2021 (at least, I assume you did this)?
If you created the state before you deleted the 1099-R, then if you are using the CD/download software, you can just delete the state, make sure the 1099-R is deleted, then re-enter the state.
If you are using the Online product, I am hesitant to have you delete the state because I don't want you to have to buy the state again. If this is the situation, then come back and tell us.
State is PA
And I did the deleting of the 1099 -R before I ever entered the State Return .
I waited till I was done with the whole Federal side .
Then opened the State . I keep running updates hoping it would fix things.
I am surprised it's not showing any errors so I can fix it .
Thank you for your answer
Any chance you had this same 1099-R on your PA return in 2021? For example, did you mark this 1099-R as non-taxable in the PA interview in 2021?
Yes I had this same 1099-R in 2021
Yes on checking it as non deductible in 2021
But I no longer needed it for 2022 so I removed it on the federal end
But shows up in the PA as untitled at $0.00
If you opened the Pennsylvania state return before you deleted the untitled Form 1099-R on the federal, it might be stuck in the state return. Sometimes it is best to delete the state and get a fresh import from the completed Federal Return. Most of the information is imported from the federal.
Please check that the Form 1099-R is deleted in the federal.
Then go to the States section and click on the trash can icon to delete the return
Add the Pennsylvania return again and check that the Form 1099-R is not in the return
