1099 r bug "did you use it for something else?"

I have more than one 1099-R.  The first one was downloaded from my broker M/L  TT classified the entire withdrawal as taxable, in spite of the fact that the funds were transferred directly to charity (I didn't take possession of the money.)

I entered the second one manually and it asked me about FEMA disaster recovery (like the first on) and then it also asked me if I did something else with the money.  Why didn't I get that question on the first one?  [BUG]

No bug.....On the downloaded one....(or any time you import a 1099-R form) you always have to actually EDIT it and go thru all the followup questions after the main 1099-R form page....even if you don't have to touch and of the values in the boxes there.

Especially for a QCD...there is nothing on the 1099-R form that indicates that any, or all of it went to a charity as a QCD.......you have to answer the followup questions to indicate that because sometimes it is only part of the distribution for the year.
