1099 - MISC Rentals

Hello,

I have a 1099-MISC for a Box Rental for my job. The amount of money I earned is in BOX 1 under "Rentals" on the form, however there is no Box 1 area for me to enter on Turbo tax. What should I do?

You have probably entered the Business area of TurboTax. Instead, you need to go to the Rental Properties and Royalties and start the interview there.

The 1099-MISC screen under Rentals will have box 1.
