1099 misc form from his union, money added up for supplemental unemployment fund and a veterans award.

My spouse received a 1099 misc form from his union, the money was paid to him for supplemental unemployment fund and a veteran's award.   The total is all 3 payments together are listed on a 1099 misc  in box 3.  Where do I place this dollar amount in turbo tax? Do I put the portion that was union paid unemployment into the money paid by union for unemployment under the 1099 G section, or keep the entire amount and list under the other income on 1099misc.

You should list the form 1099-M in the other income section in TurboTax. It is not formally unemployment since not paid from a governmental entity and the IRS will be looking for it on your tax return as other income, since that is how it is listed on the reporting form.
