Am getting a recon. error when running the scan. It says my 1099 worksheet does not match the revenue on the ebay 1099-k. The amounts are identical, $5778. What do I do ?

I am unable to view your .jpg files which may contain helpful information.

At the screen Personal Item Sales, did you select:

    • I sold some items at a loss or had not gain, or
    • All items were sold at a loss or had no gain?

For personal item sales, IRS form 1099-K box 1a should be the same as IRS form 1099-B Proceeds unless you selected one of the options above.

    Thanks for replying.
    1. I did NOT select " I sold some items at a loss or had not gain"

    2. Nor did I select: " All items were sold at a loss or had no gain

Furthermore, IRS form 1099-K box 1a is the same as IRS form 1099-B Proceeds.
    Both amounts are $5778.00

    What do I do?
It will not allow me to file with this error message.

If IRS form 1099-K box 1a is the same as IRS form 1099-B Proceeds, and you are still receiving an error, something in the entry is causing the error.

Remove the entries and Review.  Then re-submit and Review.
