1099-int wrong address as CA

I'm a WA state resident. I closed a bank account last year and asked them to send a cashier check to a mailing address in CA. This was only intended as a mailing address and not a change of my legal address.

I just received a 1099-int from the bank with the CA address. I contacted them but they won't correct it. What should I do?

It's interest of about $350

There's no withholding.

I was not at anytime a WA resident.

The MAILING address on ANY tax form is not definitive of state source income for any income.  However, it is on you to prove you were not a resident of the state if California decides to question your residency.  Realistically, if it is not a significant amount of money, they would be unlikely to pursue it.
