Question

1099-INT, LIne 4?

On the 1099-INT I recevied from my mortgage company, there is an entry on Line 4 for the amont of “Federal Income Tax Withheld”.

But, I don’t see anywhere to enter that info on the TurboTax 1099-INT form.

How do I get credit for that withholding?

Thank you.

The little check box that my form has more boxes.

You are correct.  My mistake.  I didn’t check the box on the TurboTax form that says “My form has info in more than just box 1 (this is uncommon)”.

Now that I entered the data manually on the 1099-INT form itself, the full drop down list showing all the boxes below box 1 not appear, including Box 4 that has my entry for the federal income tax withholding.

    Thank you for your reply.

Never mind.  I just entered it manually on the 1099-INT form itself.

Seems there’s an oversight on the TurboTax data entry form for 1099-INT.
