1099 DIV import

When I do the Federal review I am getting highlighted blanks on all the 1099 Div forms I imported from various mutual fund companies.  The numbers came through fine but if there was not a number TurboTax is highlighting it and saying it needs attention.  Can I clear these all at once?

No way that I know of....it really does depend on exactly which box numbers are getting hi-lighted,.  Especially if the -DIV ahs box 11 values, there are some followup questions that must be answered by you.  Other boxes ...depends...  No way for us to investigate without knowing which boxes are causing a problem.

Box 5 on 1099 has info in a footnote that describes exactly what is in box 5, but it leaves no place to transfer this data to Turbo tax forms on computer screen. I presume it is important since it does affect taxes, but appears to be related to other data that appears to be related to 1040 instructions re 20% business income deduction.

All You have to do is to add box 5 into the 1099-DIV tax form in the interview  (it can only  be less than, or equal to box 1a).

IF you don't see box 5, edit that 1099-DIV and look for the checkbox on the main -DIV form page that will expand the form to display ALL possible boxes.
