1099-B

I received a 1099-B from a Mutual Fund, there are three sets of data on the form:

Box A - short term sales with cost basis reported to the IRS

Box D - long term sales with cost basis reported to the IRS

Box E - long term sales with cost basis not reported to the IRS

I went to Open Form and pulled down the TurboTax 1099-B worksheet. I can see where to enter the data for Box A - short term sales with cost basis reported to the IRS and Box D - long term sales with cost basis reported to the IRS, no problem with these two entries. The “Box E” entry is driving me crazy, I  cannot find the box E input location on the 1099-B worksheet.

In the desktop version typically the simplest way to enter is using the step-by-step, as @tmunoz and critter3 mention.

However you can enter the sale in the forms mode.  Since you have created the 1099B wkst, "Quickzoom to the Capital Asset Sales Worksheet"  There you can enter the sale (or summary) from your 1099B.  The "8949 Box" has a dropdown to select "E" for "long-term not reported to the IRS"

In TurboTax Online, you will enter it in the Stock Investment section.

    Click Add another sale
In the drop down menu for Sales section, select Long-term basis not reported to IRS

Thank you. I should have mentioned that I am using desktop copy of TurboTax.
