1099-B downloads from Computershare DO NOT WORK

Year after year, downloads from Computershare do not work.  TT please fix this.  My Computershare accounts are in the name of my family trust.  Is that a problem?  It shouldn't be.  I have entered all of the many fields correctly, but one of them asks for Last Name.  I have tried entering my last name (I'm the Trustee) and the full name of the trust.  What is the problem???

1099-B downloads from Computershare DO NOT WORK

are you downloading as a PDF and then trying to import that - that doesn't work! does the trust have an EIN and are you trying to import to a 1040.  An EIN for the trust prevents import into the 1040

if import is going to work there should be a link on the file tab that says "import" select that.

then select "from financial institution"

type computershare in search box

click on continue link

however, it provides for importing into an individual return not a 1041 and you can't use an EIN only an SSN that's linked to the account. This IS NOT a Turbotax issue but a limitation imposed by Computershare.
