What is the best way to get the information from multiple 1099-B document into a desktop Turbotax filing.

I have them in both pdf and CSV form on my computer.

Pdfs won't. CSV import for crypto was disabled for a time. I don't know if this has been rectified.

Under stocks in Desktop Deluxe, there is no option to import a PDF or CSV, only a TXF file or directly from your brokers if it partners with TurboTax.

for this process open your return . At the top, click on file. Scroll down and click on import.. select from Financial institution. Then enter the name, and if it's listed in the lower box, click on it. From here, the procedures for importing vary. If successful and back in TurboTax, you should see a list of what was imported. Below that is a blue icon that says "import now" click on it to actually complete import.

warning There have been many threads this year about issues with importing, even though you will get a "SUCCESSFUL" message.

I think the short answer is you can’t upload pdf in the desktop version.

What a pathetic garbage tax program.
