Forms 1095-B and 1095-C do not need to be entered into TurboTax.  Just keep your 1095-B for your records.

But you'll still need to answer the first question in the Health Insurance section, telling TurboTax whether you had coverage for the entire year.  If you had coverage the whole year on form 1095-B, then answering that question is all you have to do.

A Form 1095-B is not entered on a tax return.

To enter your Form 1095-A -

  • Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
  • Click on Deductions and Credits
  • Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
  • Scroll down to Medical
  • On Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A), click the start or update button

Or enter 1095-a in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1095-a
