I have both 1042-S and W2 form. I graduated in August 2019. According to SPT, I'm counted as a resident alien so I can't use Sprintax. Sprintax referred me to use TurboTax. However, I couldn't find anywhere to input the amount on 1042-S. What should I do?

You will treat it as receiving a scholarship or fellowship to offset your qualified education expenses if there are any. Per IRS, you are required to file Form 1040 to report your scholarship amount along with your tuition. If you have paid any qualified tuition expenses out of pocket or with scholarship, you would enter information by following the steps below.
In TurboTax online edition,
What is the income code on your Form 1042-S?
My income code is 16.
Thank you!

In TurboTax online edition,
a)Should we add the amount in the box of
'Other Scholarships/Grants/Fellowships'?
b) Which amount should we put? box 10 of the 1042-S form?
c) do we have to mail it so we can include the 1042-S in this case?
Thanks!
a. You can either enter the amount in 'Other Scholarships/Grants/Fellowships' or box 5 on the Form 1098-T.

In TurboTax online program, go to:
c. No, you can still e-file. You do not need to attach Form 1042-S. IRS has a copy already. Just make sure you report your information correctly and paid the taxes.
@Greta123
It's really hard to figure out how to file the "scholarship " or the "1098T" with my 1042-s because in 1042s I got the deduction instead of another income. The answer is really confusing to me. Does anyone know how to work on it?
What is your income code and what do you mean by deduction? Are you referring to the federal tax withholding in box 7?
