On my taxes I accidentally clicked myself as a dependent even though my parents didn’t claim me. I was going to submit a 1040x to change my status so I could receive my stimulus check. I was wondering if that would work and they’d send the stimulus checks cause I was supposed to get the last 2 as well as this new one

If you amend your tax return, you won't necessarily get a check. The payment could come by direct deposit. Also, please be aware that the rules have changed for the third stimulus check, and you can be a dependent to get that one.
Here is a link to the stimulus calculator, which will let you know if you're eligible.

My parent received the most recent stimulus check for me , but I was wondering if I did amend my dependency status would they pay that back and they’d send it to me along with the other stimulus checks?
It is not clear from the IRS if that would work or not. Also, you must indicate that your parent's can claim you as a dependent if that is true, whether they claim you or not. In other words, you have no choice, if they can claim you then you must file as such.
