1040 ES payments printed on the forms are not enough for 2019.  Can I cross out the amounts and send in a higher amount with out causing a problem?

Yes, you can change the amounts printed on the forms 1040-ES. Just cross out the amount and write in the new amount, then enclose a check for the new amount. There would not be any problem whatsoever with the IRS.
