1040 line 37

Based on my 1040 I am due a refund but it also printed out a bill for $538 based on line 37. I dont understand. Please advise

If your Form 1040 Line 37 shows an amount then that is the taxes owed for the federal tax return, you are not receiving a federal tax refund.
