The printed form for 1040-ES Voucher 4 has a due date of 1-18-22, it should be 1-17-23. It is right in the electronic forms, but wrong on the pdf. TY 2021.

I just finished and filed my return BUT the vouchers that are in the return ALL have the wrong dates.
The vouchers with my 2020 return say:
1 due 4/15/2021
2 due 6/15/2021
3 due 9/15/2021
4 due 1/18/2022
Sounds like maybe I'm just safe to ignore the dates, and just use the vouchers as if they had the correct dates? Yes? No? yikes!
Further back someone reported that new 1040ES forms would not be available until mid February.
@susandennis You mention that you filed your 2020 tax return. So, the estimated tax vouchers you are supplied with will be for your 2021 tax year, so those are the correct due dates. You use them to pay the estimated tax for the next filing year, which is 2021 if you filed your 2020 tax return on time in 2021.
Ok, I was wrong - so sorry.
I just filed my 2021 return. Your answer makes sense with my incorrect info 😁 (The estimated tax due (and paid) in 2021 was for a different amount.)
I see where TurboTax says their correct Vouchers won't be ready until 2/17. I'm not clear on how I will see those since my return is already done and gone. (I did it all via the web.)
Anyone have any idea?
But the more I think about it, the more I realize that it really does not make any difference. I'll pay the correct amount on the correct days electronically and I'm sure the IRS will be happy with that. It's just odd that TT provides the info knowing it's not correct.
You can track when a form will be available by following the instructions here @mkruger21.
But, for 2022 1040ES forms, today, they Still, they may not be printing correctly.
After this morning's Software update, I see the same thing as @DoninGA on the Forms Mode page in the desktop software that "appears" to show the proper 2022 due dates (and without the Do Not File on them), but if I actually create a PDF file or print the form from that, the due dates are still all for 2021 forms (with a 2022 header).
The "Forms Availability" page today (2/11/2022) shows the 2022 form 1040-ES as now being available. I ran and updated TurboTax today, but the printed 1040-ES forms are still showing payment due dates for tax-year 2021. I almost scheduled payments on EFTPS with the wrong dates!
Correct...that's what I said just above your post.....still wrong dates on the actual printed form.
Doubt there will be any change before next weeks scheduled software update (usually overnight Wed-Thur)
