I am just starting my taxes and putting in my information and it is telling me I have to file single because while I have dependents I don't pay more than 50% of my expenses...which isn't true?

When you entered your dependents in MY INFO, it asked if the dependent paid for over half their own support.  Did you say NO?   It did not ask if you paid over half---it asked if the dependent paid over half.  You can click each dependent's name in MY INFO, go back through those questions and correct your answers.   It is a weird question that causes trouble for folks--be careful how you answer it.
