Amended Fed return MIA

I amended my 2021 Fed and State return on TurboTax .  I recall mailing the State return and got refund from Az April 2022. I cannot recall if Fed was e-filed or mailed but it’s been 24 weeks and IRS.gov Where’s my amended return has no record of it. 
How do I bring up form 1040X on TurboTax to make a copy and refile? What would be my concerns for filing next year with this Federal amended portion still pending?

Even during “normal” times it takes about four months for the IRS to process an amended return.  During the pandemic and due to the severe backlog at the IRS it is taking much longer—six to nine  months or more for many amended returns.  Do not expect quick results from amending.  When the IRS issues a refund for an amended return it will be by check.  They do not make direct deposits for refunds for amended returns.  You can watch for information here:
