As a 1099 independent contractor, can I deduct dental license fee & dental insurance for 2018 taxes?

Last year I worked as independent contractor, as a dentist. Can I deduct :

1. State dental licensing fees and sedation permit?

2. Dental malpractice insurance?

I paid for these myself, did not receive any employer reimbursement

Yes, those (and others) are deductible expenses on Schedule C for the Self-Employed. https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-schedule-c-form-1040
