Was it made from your RMD directly from the plan administrator to the charity?

When you enter the 1099-R, one of the followup questions deals with Qualified Charitable Contributions. Answer that question correctly and the amount that was contributed will be excluded from taxable income.

 Y software did not have that question. Used Turbo Tax Premiere. Wrong version?

Yes Premier. Yes I do qualify. Yes I am old enough though I do not believe age matters.
