Sorry, but you won't. To have refundable credits such as the Earned Income Tax Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit you need earned income, usually from wages or self-employment. If you have no income you have no need to file.

Are you married? If you file a joint retun you can get child credits.

I'm not married. I lived with my grandmother and helped take care of her and 2 50-something Down Syndrome uncles. I supported myself I had food stamps. Not sure if that matters on taxes.
