Why wont my mortgage company populate so I can enter my 1098

If your Form 1098 did not import into TurboTax one of two things probably happened: (1) either TurboTax does not have an agreement with your financial institution, or (2) your Form 1098 is not ready for import. Leaders have until January 31 to send out mortgage interest statements.

If you have your 1098 info, you can type it into TurboTax.

• Type Form 1098 in Search in the upper right of your screen,
• Hit enter,
• Click Jump to form 1098,
• Say Yes to Did you pay any home loans in 2020? Continue.
