Since your return is being rejected with a message saying "You have an entry on Form 8283, Donee Acknowledgement which required a donee's signature, electronic attachment is not supported," you will need to print out and mail your tax return.
The taxing agency has implemented new standards for 2024 tax returns that essentially says if Form 8382 has a noncash donation where the donee is listed, then the form must be signed.
Please follow the steps here to print and file your tax return.
this does not come close to an answer, who is supposed to sign this, just send the blank forms into the IrS? there is no way I know how, who, or what is supposed to be done with this form, I have no way of knowing who to send it to, nor do I know who should sign this, and how to get it back??? the "expert" failed here on so many levels
Allow me to clarify. If you have a donee listed on your Form 8283 (page 2, part V) for noncash donations that exceed $5,000, then you will need to print out your entire return and mail it in.
Form 8283 will print out when you print your tax return and would be included as part of your complete tax return. If you have a signed acknowledgment from the donee organization, you will include that form with your tax return. This will meet the requirement of having Form 8283 signed by the donee organization.
