Why is my state income tax not showing up on "your tax breaks"? My property taxes alone are not maxing out the 10K deduction.

It is possible that your standard deduction is more than your itemized deductions, in which case your state taxes would not be deductible on your federal return.

It turns out that the state taxes must have been included because when I got to the final review page my SALT deduction was at the max of 10k. It would have just been nice to see them itemized on the deductions page.
