Why are Turbotax wages and tips number not reduced by the Dependent Care FSA pretax contribution of $5,000?

When I select "Explain my taxes" in Turbotax, the tax amount due is based on income that exceeds my W2 box 1 wages and tips by the $5,000 of Dependent Care FSA pretax contributions. This looks wrong to me. Please help.

Did you enter your dependent care expenses? You must enter expenses of at least $5000, or that money will become taxable.
