Why are my vehicle deductions so low? I used actual expenses as opposed to mileage, ~$10,000. But only an $840 deduction. How does that happen?

Your vehicle deductions are limited to the percentage of time you used the return for business. You have to enter your business and total miles in order for this to calculate correctly.

Daughter worked in Austria part of year (Taxed at 20% in Austria). Can this be deducted from income? She was abroad 4 months; earned less than $20K overseas?
