Why am I only getting $69 Child Dependent Credit
It's very difficult to tell without seeing your return, but the most common reason is that you did not owe any or very little tax.
The Child and Dependent Care Credit will only offset taxes you owe. If you don't owe tax or owe very little tax that is all the credit will be. The amount of tax you owe is on line 16 of your Individual Tax Return.
