Which turbo tax version allows for preparation of federal form 5227 for Charitable Remainder Unitrust?
No version. TurboTax does not support the preparation of Form 5227.
Charitable Remainder Trusts (CRUT, CRAT, NICRUT, NIMCRUT, etc) are Split Interest Trusts. They're required to report income and distributions annually on FORM 5227 and the 1041 version of the K-1 respectively. TurboTax for Business does not recognize this type of trust.
When will Intuit create a version or modifiy a version to handle these reports?

Just a guess:
In all likelihood Intuit will never incorporate the form into the Business edition as it rather complex and there is almost certainly insufficient demand for the form's inclusion.
As an aside, there has been, seemingly, a lot of requests for the inclusion of Form 709 over the years, but Intuit has yet to include that form in any version of TurboTax.
It is a shame that federal form 5227 is not available via a TurboTax version. The only real option for Form 5227 is a professional preparer that has Wolters Kluwer (CCH) software. TurboTax should offer Federal Form 709 in its advanced versions, this is a common form for many TT's advanced users.
Lacerte s/w supports the form as do Intuit's other professional products.
